Sophie Digard lives and designs in Paris. She began her company in 1999. Fibers are made and dyed to her specifications in France and then are shipped to her workshop in Madagascar where they are hand crocheted, knitted. embroidered and woven into unique works of art. Her work is in great demand worldwide and I feel fortunate to receive orders of her beautiful scarves and bags. Everything is produced to order.

This incredible (they all are) bag is made of 100% raffia and is covered front and back in three dimensional flowers. When you look closely at every piece you are amazed to think human hands knitted every square inch! The interior has one pocket and a tie closure.
