Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a trip with you to Italy?

Please follow the travel tab on my website and fill out the survey. I will be in touch upon your completion of the survey!

Do you accept payment plans?

I have a payment platform that allows for the sum to be divided up in the months remaining after the initial deposit is made.

What are the top tourist attractions in Italy?

There are many! My experiences offer a different view than a museum or monument tour. We pack a lot in but it’s a pretty comprehensive experience of culture, history, art, food and shopping.

What is the local currency and how do I exchange money?

Italy is part of the EU therefore the Euro is the currency. There are ATMs everywhere. I highly recommend you come with a debit card.

How far in advance should I get a new passport?

Renew your passport approximately nine months before it expires. Check the expiration date because certain countries require passports to remain valid for up to six months after travel. Also, some airlines do not allow you to board if you do not meet this requirement.

Do I need a visa to visit Italy?

Not unless you decide not to go home and stay more than 3 months.

Is it safe to travel to Italy?

Absolutely.

What is the weather like in Italy?

Ever changing. It is in a valley so the weather moves through. I recommend layers when packing.

Are there any cultural customs I should be aware of while visiting Italy?

I don’t recommend activewear for walking around town. Italians dress and you will get more respect for looking, well… respectable.

What are the most common forms of travel while in Italy?

The trains are wonderful  but you can hire a car or fly depending on your destination.

What will we eat while in Italy?

So much great food you can’t imagine. It’s one of the main highlights of being there!

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING

Florence with Belinda is not to be missed!  She curates the best of the best - from shopping to churches to food markets to palaces to ancient burial sites. What fun to be in such a beautiful, historic city with such an amazing group of women! -- JBC

Your knowledge and experience navigating Florence is priceless.  I do not think I could have seen and learned as much in one area without your guidance.  You truly know Florence!  I thought the itinerary was well thought out and every place we toured, shopped, and ate was over the top!  I know we would not have experienced the fine foods and wines that the locals enjoy without your lead.  I can't say enough about the local areas and restaurants we experienced on this trip. --MD

Wow what a wonderful experience to visit Florence with an expert! I am so grateful to have been a part of one of your trips and would love to go back soon. Thank you making my first time in Italy unforgettable! --TO
